Motions

  • “The risks of publicly releasing frontier AI model weights outweigh the benefits.”
  • “Frontier AI developers that release open weights offer weaker long-term investment returns than developers that keep their models closed.”
  • “Closed models will retain an overall performance capability advantage over open-weight models through 2030.”

Debaters will be named at a later date. Debates are moderated by members of the AI media, and judged by well-known influencers and leaders in AI.
